Deckenhausen lies in the heart of the rich moor land pastures of Northern Kehdingen along the river Elbe. It is a region renowned for its hallmark Hannoverian horse breeding.
For generations the von der Decken family has owned and managed Deckenhausen, a traditional Hannoverian horse breeding, rearing and training enterprise.
Numerous well known internationally successful competition horses in dressage, jumping and eventing were originally bred on Deckenhausen.
Our own and clients horses are reared from foals to 3 years old, prepared and presented for stallion licensing, mare performance tests and for auction by us.
